Since 2017 you've simply transformed young people's lives, supported students across the UK in the creative industry, created and protected jobs for talented staff and generated new business for the sector.

It's been a pleasure to be your creator, owner and director for so many years. I can't thank you enough for all of the support; everyone from our wonderful students, parents, our INCREDIBLE staff, the support team, business development and all of our education partners. Thank you SO much to all my family, friends and loved ones for the continued support over the years.

I'm very pleased to announce that @lead_performing_arts has merged and
is now part of the @scleducation group.

LEAD Performing Arts is now SCL Creative. I've been very fortunate to have secured a senior leadership position within SCL as the Creative Arts Commercial Director. A huge thank you to SCL for the opportunity and to allow my vision for this sector to come to fruition, the future looks very bright ⭐

Finally, to all our students, education partners, colleagues and friends across the UK, have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

Although we say goodbye and a fond farewell to LEAD Performing Arts in 2023, @lead_education_ will continue.........

I'm really happy and proud that we're able to diversify our educational offer by working with @finalchecksacademy based in Romford, Essex;
a BAFTA accredited academy specialising in hair, makeup, costume design and fashion.

@scleducation @finalchecksacademy will be launching our very first Production Arts level 3 qualification in September 2023!

We are opening this offer to other educational establishments within this sector across the UK.

We look forward to welcoming our learners and industry professionals on this incredibly unique and engaging study programme within the creative arts industry

10 years in the making, working together and combining our brands @rachael_lakey

LEAD Pathways will provide a host of opportunities for young people & adults in the creative arts sector including international study programmes, higher education opportunities, apprenticeships, work experience and enrichment activities in the UK & abroad.

To achieve this, we'll be working with training providers, schools within the creative arts sector in the UK & abroad, universities, charities, local authorities & councils and various awarding bodies.

We're incredibly excited to create more educational & career opportunities within this amazing industry; working with some of the most talented professionals in the creative arts.

HUGE thank you to friends, family, colleagues and of course our young people for all the support. Without you this simply doesn't happen and we're forever grateful.

SO excited to finally announce that we welcome the wonderful @kaitlynmatthews_dance to the @lead_education_ @lead_performing_arts team!

Kaitlyn is our new Business Support Administrator.

I feel so proud to be able to offer her this amazing opportunity within LEAD to help support the business where she'll also gain her business apprenticeship with @scleducation .

Kaitlyn is an ex LEAD student of ours who was based with our education partners @theworxacademy_official. It's been absolutely amazing to see her progress from her BTEC, become a @cyd_uk star 🌟, contuine her high level training, and become an employee of LEAD.

This role will allow Kaitlyn to explore the wider context of the creative arts sector by learning new skills in business whilst continuing her competitive peforming arts training and her teaching pathways.

Rachael and I have worked together for over 10 years and have always talked about working on a project together. That opportunity has now materialised by combining our brands and our joint passion for education, business and progression opportunities for young people.

Wow, what a term we've had. Our @lead_performing_arts learners have been working so hard on their study programme, auditioning to amazing schools, securing employment and taking part in amazing enrichment opportunities including @moveitshow.

The LEAD Education team and all of our education partners have been working tirelessly this term. We've had DfE audits, Deep Dive (Ofsted) style inspections, CPD, external moderation processes and discussing plans for September 2023. It's been incredibly busy but we're all moving in the right direction and ultimately, providing an incredibe service for our young people.

Couldn't be more proud of the team. We have some exciting plans and announcements to make next term, but for now, have an amazing, well earned Easter break, all the best - Steve
